In 2006 successful property developer Peter Copley purchased 35 Wellington Road from his nephew. This would go on to become the first property in the Chappersdean LLP portfolio. At first considering this acquisition as a singular investment, Peter then proceeded to generously offer this as the beginning of an attractive business opportunity going forward to his children. Using his 35+ years of expertise in property development and facilities management, in the public sector, Peter envisioned a scaled down, total residential property management and maintenance service, deliverable in Dartford and the surrounding areas.

Soon after in September 2007, with Ross Copley and Lucy Copley appointed as directors, the company was officially registered with Companies House and Peter’s creation was born. Ross began working for the partnership in 2007 and Lucy began full-time in 2014.

Having successfully purchased, developed, let and maintained residential property since its formation, this family-run organisation has experienced substantial growth across the last 16 years. It now boasts a healthy portfolio of 17 properties including: flats, 2 and 3 bedroom houses and an office space.
